STA Series Single Phase AC Resistance Weld Control

The STA-100A  and STA-200A utilize a unique combination of an LCD screen and separate keypad, eliminating the need to memorize special codes or follow LED indicators. The screen’s simple, intuitive design has been configured to enable viewing of programmed and monitored weld data and allow the user to quickly and easily make modifications.

Miyachi is proud to introduce the first in its new family of AC resistance weld controls. The STA-100A  and STA-200A are the most advanced, yet simplest single contactor unit on the market. STA features an intuitive, easy-to-use programming screen and is designed to control and integrate press welders, seam welders, robotic systems, rocker arm welders, and special machines.

Ideal For:
  • Consumer Appliances
  • Nut and Stud Welding
  • Electronic and Automotive Components
  • Aircraft
  • Office Furniture

Features & Benefits

    • Simple, intuitive programming screens: The STA-100A utilizes a unique combination of an LCD screen and separate keypad, eliminating the need to memorize special codes or follow LED indicators. The screen’s simple, intuitive design has been configured to enable viewing of programmed and monitored weld data and allow the user to quickly and easily make modifications.

    • Programmable upslope/downslope: Program upslope and downslope on both Weld 1 and Weld 2 and control how quickly current is passed through the workpieces. Ensures precise control over the welding process and success in metals joining applications including “hard to weld” materials.

    • Unique linking feature: Weld schedules can be programmed more efficiently. Minimizes more complicated PLC programming! The STA-100A AC resistance weld control is the only control capable of linking chaining, successive, spot, and seam modes.

    • Current Stepping: Automatically steps current to compensate for electrode wear ensuring better, more consistent welds.

  • Versatile cabinet design: A removable door makes it easy to hardwire and gain access to internal connector strips. The cabinet can be mounted either forward facing or 90° to front without the use of special brackets or tools, ensuring the end-user greater flexibility and ease of use.
