POSITION SUMMARY:

Electrical Panel/ Automation/ Electrical Assembler

T. J. Snow Co, Inc of Chattanooga, TN has an immediate opening for an electrical panel builder/ machine wirer. Under general supervision, the Machine Electrician performs a variety of tasks relating to the wiring, installation and automation of electrical systems for the assembly of resistance welding machinery. A full range of electrical-mechanical skills will be utilized to assemble and wire panels for industrial automation per drawings.

Job Requirements:

- Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics and wiring diagrams and wire industrial machines from scratch according to these prints.

- Install and inter-wire a variety of electrical components including PLCs, Motor Drives, Servos, proximity sensors, din rail, raceway, terminal blocks, resistance welding controls, transformers.

- Ability to use and operate electronic testing equipment.

- Exercises good judgment and properly follows safety procedures at all time

- Must be able to read and write and possess basic mathematical skills.

- Good eye-hand coordination and dexterity

- Good attendance record and positive attitude.

- Take pride in their craftsmanship and a job well done

- Flexibility to work overtime when needed

- A pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check are required.
