The Arctic system is a compact stud-and-nut electrode with internal water cooling. These electrodes have a variety of mounting options: they are available with 4RW and 5RW tapers for tapered shanks and holders, built in platen mount for table fixtureing and shank mount for cylinder mounted applications.  Also available is an optional air expulsion fitting for automated nut feeding systems.

The Arctic electrodes design allows water to flow internally to the face of the electrode providing superior cooling verses a standard nut or stud welding electrode. This design increases electrode life and can pay for itself in a short period of time.
